I backed up my entire Mac 10.6.1 to an external drive with Time Machine.
I then reformatted it using the disk it came with (10.5 something), and upgraded, and now I'd like to restore that Time Machine backup. The issue I'm having is that it won't let me restore a backup.
When I tell Time Machine to use the drive, it uses it and will let me look at the backup. I love the beautiful aesthetics, but I stopped being impressed when I found that the restore button in the bottom right corner was not clickable.
Is there a way to restore that backup as I expected the name "backup" would let me?
