Sort of long story... OS 10.4.11 on a G4, with a second drive, rebooted with a dialog saying "you need to restart..", with a power button graphic. Tried to restart several times with no luck. Booted into safe mode with the S key. Then restarted with the option key and the second drive was no longer available. It is still present as a device on about this mac, but it has no mount point. There were some errors on it when I ran disc utility, but they were not repairable. How do I access it and/or remount it to repair it?
