WinFS for XP?

  #1
Apr 11th, 2005
In the May edition of Maximum PC, it says that WinFS, the file system originally announced for debut with longhorn, would be released for XP. Can anyone find any links to news that isn't just rumor? It would make sense to me because then M$ can entise everyone to upgrade to Longhorn.

It seems like it's a maybe, maybe not, deal:

Printed magazine content is usually written many weeks before publication. WinFS will not even be fully implemented in Loghorn, according to more recent reports.
