I am new to this but apparently still clueless on how to get rid of this search extender -- I should be able to navigate thru stuff - but can't get my PC to hook up to the internet in safe mode - when i reboot in safe - to run the stuff i need - i am using comcast broadband cable -
my initial problem is that i have search extender STUCK in my computer and can't get rid of it.
so i ran a few virus scans - and came up with a ton of trojans - like 700 to be close to exact - and i got rid of most of them - so my PC got a little bit faster - but not near back to normal - all the sites i have searched say re-boot in SAFE mode - and i cannot connect to the internet while in safe - any suggestions? also is there an easy way to get rid of the search extender? it is making my computer almost impossible to use.
