SearchEngineWatch.com is the SEO/SEM industry's most trafficked site. The original publication and hub of the rapidly expanding seach industry. Before Google was a household name, the publication monitored the happenings of old school engines - WebCrawler, HotBot, and AltaVista. The pioneer publication, run by Danny Sullivan was even cited in Page & Brin infamous discertation that created Google.

The UK based Incisive Media purchased the Clickz Network (home of SEW), and the trade show division of Jupiter Media (Nasdaq: JUPM) for a cool $43 million in cash. Jupiter's stock took a nosedive today, with an approximate 15% dip.

Jupiter wants to concentrate on it's stock photography division, according to CEO Alan Meckler's blog.

Aaron Wall, author of the SEO Book has a nice write up on his blog about the purchase.
