link swapping is trading links.

most link swaps are sketch as few people do most of the link swaps using numerous low quality sites.

there are lots of fine details to link swaps, although they do not have much to do with pay per click advertising

Link swapping is a great way to drive targeted traffic to your site. Here are some good networks to join so that you can scout out some related web sites that are also interested in exchanging links.

http://www.linkmarket.net - this one is my favorite
http://www.linkmetro.com
http://www.linkpartners.com

- Best of Luck!

1. Only swap relevant links
2. Links should serve your visitors, not the search engines
3. Link exchanges are much less effective than pursuing one way in bound links
www.markdavidny.com - just one of my sites I'm trying to boost traffic for ;-)
