Hi there i have a Dimension 2300 that my brother got and im haveing some really problems with installing Windows XP SP2

Now i have tryed with about 3 different hard drives and then tried a 40GB then i was able to install Windows 98 but i want the Windows XP SP2 on it.

Now the Computer has a EMPREX DVD Combo Drive & a Floppy
Memory? is 1GB 512x2 = 1024 but if i try to take the RAM sticks out and put some other ones in it wont boot (the screen wont turn on)

When i was trying to install Windows XP SP2 i got BLUE screen (one that was saying BADPOOL i think.

(I have also Cleaned the BIOS) the pin on the motherboard

And it says something about Set Password or something.

SO i even switched the CPU with a Intel P4 1.8 thinking that the CPU that was inside was Messed up.

Can Someone tell me what is going on here.?

How can i install Windows XP SP2 ?
I already did many installings on about 10 Computers already.

Why dont this one install Windows XP SP2?

Someone please help.
