I'm trying to complete an assignment for a Certificate IV WebDesign. I'm finding it all really hard and have heaps of questions. I have installed IIS, PHP 4.3.8 and MySQL 4.0.20 on my home computer. The reason for putting myself through all this agony is i need to learn how to maintain our business website....here's my first question
What is the ideal s/ware and h/ware specifications to run a server sided PHP and MYSQL website?

I'd use Apache, it's easier to work with than IIS in my opinion.
