effective user database

  #1
Mar 4th, 2006
im working on a asp.net project, sorta like a web portal, which will need a user database.

i have a very good understanding of sql. i just want some examples or tips on writing a good user database.
ive create a few which i think are good, but could be better.
like the best way to seperate and normilize the data with the least amount of redundency.
im a real prefectionist when it comes to my coding so i want my database to be writen in the most effective manner.

any help to a link or reference would be appriecated. ive googled with no real success, and examples i found on sites like sourceforge are mostly all half done :/
