I have a domain and website for sale. The site's backend is a fully robust, turnkey Lotus Domino database. It was built by a software company out of Newburyport MA for me. It targeted a specific premiere national dropshipper that supplies their entire catalog in .csv format along with the product graphics etc... The database will import this information directly in and create individual records 'on the fly'. And you can create 'profiles' for any .csv or .txt file for any distributor. The UI is intuitive and the site graphic templates are already built-in. This site has been dormant for a 1-1/2 due to many issues - I can discuss those issues offline with you because it would take too long to type it all out. The main reason being the lack of proper SEO which sunk me as I relied more heavily in PPC advertising as my organic advertising wained.
This site is built to incorporate Cart32.com shopping software code (for each product record) which can be 'rented' for $25.00/month. Cart32 is a very robust cart system that allows for UPS/USPS shipping calculations at checkout, muti-processor capabilities foer Cybercash, AuthorizeNet. Connectivity to Quickbooks et al...
I am looking for any reasonable offers for this site/database. I had been in the process of selling this site back in 2004 for $180k. Unfortunately an offer for $250k came in to my broker during the negotiations and I bit. Unfortunately for me, that deal went south because the buyer had misrepresented the fact that a large portion of the deal was to be financed(banks are web skittish as you know). By that time, the original buyer had moved on. In addition to the site and database, I am willing to give the buyer ALL of the intellectual property including:
1. Trademark transfer
2. All dropshipper accounts >20
3. computer
4. 60 days of free support
This is a great opportunity for someone who is knowledgable with Lotus and has the enthusiasm to re-launch a very promising venture. I just don't have the time anymore as I have adopted a son and he is keeping me quite busy. I have aleardy spent enough time at the computer away from my wife and kid. I have financials for review for serious inquirers only. I also have screenshots of the site and client for your review.

I wish you much happiness and good fortune with your new son. May I ask why the site isn't live right now? It doesn't look as if it has been for quite some time now.

Hi CSCGal,
Thanks. The site is not live because as soon as I dropped the PPC accounts i.e., CNET, BizRate, DealTime et al, my traffic went down and my organic traffic was'nt there to justify remaining online. I dropped the PPC accounts because the conversion rates began to go down due to competition. I am not an SEO expert and it just seemed like a real obstacle trying to constantly 'keep up' with the ever-changing technology and trying to run a business. I am presently back at my old 9-5 job as a Senior Technical Writer at Siemens Corp.
I wish the site was still online because I'm sure that someone would bite at this. I just don't want to have to reconnect the cart system, set the host back up, and reconnect with AuthorizeNet. I can support the person who picks it up and get them on their feet quite fast - its a fairly simple process - provided the person can qualify for merchant accounts. This site can be used to market any widget. It is not just a site for consumer electronics. That is why the name 'Cyberteria' is so good - its generic.
Business established on internet in January 1, 1998
• Turnkey e-commerce, credit card accepting website (Buyer must obtain own merchant accounts)
• Established Net 30 open term accounts with over 20 national consumer electronics distributors with access to 1000s of quality products
• Established Net 30 open term accounts with 6 national freight carriers
• Cyberteria is a CCR(Central Contactor Registration) registered government contractor with an on-line account
• Robust Lotus Domino based database-driven website with intuitive local client interface for adding or deleting products at will. Also able to import any distributor's .csv or .txt file of product inventory.
• Re-connectable to robust shopping cart system (www.cart32.com) with a rich, web-accessible account to view/print incoming orders on-line. (Buyer must obtain)
• Re-connectable web-accessible Credit Card transaction host account (www.authorizenet.com) (Buyer must obtain)
• Several web-accessible distributor web sites with direct on-line ordering capabilities for more convenient order processing.
• Web marketing accounts with Overture, BizRate, CNET, Epinions, and DealTime. Able to upload and control product listings in the previously mentioned accounts using Lotus Domino database text file export capabilities.
• Established Dun and Bradstreet number with web-accessible account
• Cyberteria is a trademarked service mark specific to on-line internet consumer electronic sales.
• Impressive list of past/current customers consisting of Government, Educational, Corporate and end-users (see pictures)
• Well established brand recognition with a good reputation for customer service(see Comments on BizRate, Epinions, DealTime)
• Past customer email list of over 8000 email addresses.

Sites are bought and sold every day for millions. The Internet can be very lucrative between ecommerce and selling advertising space.
