I have one table, one field designates "TIME" in short form (00:00), the next field refers to this time to designate the "SHIFT" (A, B, or C). What I want the database to do is to AUTOMATICLLY input the shift letter that coralates with the time. A = 08:00 thru 16:00, B = 16:01 thru 24:00 and C = 00:01 thru 07:59 in the SHIFT field. Can this be done? And how? Is this a Query Action or a Macro? I am not a programmer, just trying to develop this database to help office so I need help in "plain english"
