I was playing a video, and my machine froze. I restarted. No sound or sound options. Went to device manager, and there was a yellow error on Soundblaster. It said Code 12 (which means there were no resources?) Anyways, I restarted again to see what would happen, then there was no Soundblaster in device manager at all. Still havent gotten it to come back. No sound or options.
Thanks for any advice! I appreciate it.

Try reinstalling the drivers. If you can't do this (because the computer no longer sees the soundcard itself), shut off and unplug, pull card, plug and restart, power down and unplug again, reinsert card, plug and power on. Of course, if the sound is integrated, then this isn't going to help.
