3 months, no posts in this thread... Today, I learned a shortcut that I think is pretty cool:
Alt + PrtScn will take a Screen Shot of the currently selected window. Instead of always croping shots, now I know how to save time.

In paint shop pro- ctrl+alt+z =redo
In IE- when entering an address if you type for example daniweb on it's own and the press ctrl+enter the www. and .com will go either side.
I don't know whether this one has been done but windows key+e open email

For you people who use the command prompt in windows ( very rare I know ), the F7 key brings you a window with the command history for that session.

Keyboard shortcuts you can use with Windows Explorer:
Display the bottom of the active window. END
Display the top of the active window. HOME
Display all subfolders under the selected folder. NUM LOCK+ASTERISK on numeric keypad (*)
Display the contents of the selected folder. NUM LOCK+PLUS SIGN on numeric keypad (+)
Collapse the selected folder. NUM LOCK+MINUS SIGN on numeric keypad (-)

windows + d minimizes/maximizes all opened applications
alt + right shift + print screen changes the contrast of the screen
alt + right shift + num Lock makes u controll the mouse with the number pad of ur keybaord with 8 up 2 down and 4/6 right left
alt + tab switch between programs

Because I have to create new folders frequently these days, I googled a bit and came up with this cool tool called bxNewFolder .
bxNewFolder adds a "New Folder" button to the toolbar of Windows Explorer. It also provides a hotkey (F12) to create a new folder within the Explorer quickly. Also it keeps a log of the folder names created before, so it is very usefull when creating identical directory heirarchies.
