Need some help

This problem is making me alot of problem : A C program is given. Determine, for each global variable, the number of occurences and the number of lines where it is used by refference.

I accept any help. Thanks

What have you tried so far in your issue? Have you written any code, or used any tools that could help?

At this problem i have a hint which specify me that I should use awk syntax, I don't have any structured global variables just simple like int var1, float var2 ... , I don't have structure, enum, or class
