Quick Question About Wireless

  #1
Apr 27th, 2006
My notebook computer does not have integrated wireless. I want to pick up either a USB or PCMCIA reciever. My question is, what standard do most Wi-Fi hotspots use? Most of what I'm seeing for sale is 802.11g. Is that compatible with 802.11a and 802.11b?
