just had a quick peek and was a bit put off by the way I couldn't get much content without becoming a member - I don't really understand why you deny showing messages to ordinary surfers - get em hooked and they'll join I'd say.

Oh I have to do that because there are pictures of people's children on the site and freaks have been known to steal the pictures and use them as their own!! It's a sick world!

One thing I recall about your site, which I found generally appealling, was the use of cocktail glasses. It just seemed a little odd to me for new parents

Agreed - the use of cocktail glasses on a parenting site is extremely discordant. It conjures the mental image of a half-sauced Mom, a cocktail in one hand and a cigarette dangling from the other, yelling abuse at her "brats". You definitely need to re-think that.
