Hi all i have a site/forum and id like y'all to review it for me mainly the forum as thats my biggest aim but the site is built and maintained mostly by a young lad i know. Well, if you want honesty. They layout nis not clean, everything look throwned in together. It really doesn't help to have a bunch of animated ".gifs" on the splash page, most of the time there really isn't need for a Splash page, I would get rid of it.

When it somes to the index page i would add some more tables so the pictures stay in a more organized place. Just some tips.

In addition, I would suggest you to get rid of that alert message of page load. It's something most users (including me) dislike.

I don't know if people missed this, but THERE IS CRAP POPPING UP, including, of course, the mentioned alert message, but most importantly unwanted advertisement.

What kind of review were you looking for?
From a code point of view the site doesn't even have a doctype.
From a design point of view I would bet it causes epilepsy.

Well whether something is crap or not is subject to intrepretation.

1. It's way too dark for an animal lovers/parents site. It should be pretty bright and clean colors. I don't like the font either, or those different colors and sizes.

2. The navigation at the top could be bettered. It's just a list at the moment. If you have a lot of different sections why not have a drop down menu like daniweb?

It's so slow in loading, I just closed the window.

The side bar is okay and the header image is passable, but the color of the text is a little shocking (atleast for me).
