Help PowerPoint 2003?

  #1
Jun 4th, 2006
I have a DVD burner on my computer. I am creating this PowerPoint show to put on DVD for my mother in law. I am using Microsoft Office 2003. I tried copying the show to DVD but would not play in the DVD player.

Question1: I cannot get the song to play as soon as the slide show begins. It always starts after the first slide.

Question2: How do I move it from hard drive to DVD and view on the TV with the music playing. Can it be done?

Question3: The music icon appears when it starts to play the music and disappears soon after, is that normal?

Thanks

You just copied the power point file over to the dvd. The dvd player does not know what kind of file it is or what to do with it. You will have to use a different format (mostly putting it into video format) for it to work. I do not know of any programs that will do this.

Maybe you could make the "show" in a video editing program.
