hi, i'm new here. i saw your post and wanted to help. if you are still experiencing the annoying popups that say that you don't have a genuine windows, you might check out this site. i used to have the very same problem untill i found this site. it tells you how to get rid of it and how to keep it off your computer. some of it is just coments about it but there are a few tips in there too. just go to http://67.19.9.2/default.aspx?article=31281
after reading the first and third parts, skip down to the heading:
Microsoft piracy pop-up is persistent
and read the follwing lines.
