Help "Disc Access: sense operatiom failed"

  #1
Sep 19th, 2006
I need help with my VAIO desk top. My computer crased the other day. I wanted to boot up with my Recovery Disc Tring to recover to the Default factory settings. However, the process stops with an error message "Disc Access: sense operation failed"

I followed one suggestion from this group and downloaded soft ware from WWW.killdisk.com , which wiped out my hard disc. Then when I used my system recovery disc, I once again had the same message at the same level.

What can I do to restart my computer. Help Please

Try using a CD titled "Windows XP".
