  #1

Hello,

I have a question that has began an argument between some mates of mine. Is there more software for Mac OS X or Windows? We would appreciate any statistics and/or feedback.

Thank you

I would agree with 'Stein that there's more software out there for Windows than for Mac. However, you might be suprised at how much Linux software can run on Mac OS X with the help of Fink or DarwinPorts. It's also worth noting that Mac OS X comes with a lot more software than Windows (at least, useful software).

Okay, thank you both a lot. I believed too that there was more software for Windows. However, I support Apple in their development for historical reasons and for the usefulness of their software such as the Mac OS X. Thanks.
