10000 limit on Access 2000?

  #1

We're using Access 2000 and have 9916 entires. I've been told we're limited to 10000 entries. Is it so? If so, can we upgrade to a new Access? Or, must we go to a more sophisticated database? What's a body to do??

your question is vague. I got this from ms access tho. there is more information there. im not gona list it all. you can get the rest of the information by going to > help > Microsoft MS access help. type in specifications.

results of basic specifications:

Attribute Maximum
Microsoft Access database (.mdb) file size 2 gigabytes. However, because your database can include linked tables in other files, its total size is limited only by available storage capacity.
Number of objects in a database 32,768
Modules (including forms and reports with the HasModule property set to True) 1,000
Number of characters in an object name 64
Number of characters in a password 14
Number of characters in a user name or group name 20
Number of concurrent users 255
