A friend of mine wants a blog site that allow posts on the whole page. I mean, without categorizing by month/year. Is there any?

I am with ses5909, Wordpress is a very good blog. I recommend getting a good hosting company to support your blog.

You could just host your blog yourself for very little money. As little as $40 per month or maybe even less. With that you could add your own website infront of the blog as well.

I'd go for either the grow it yourself variety or Wordpress as already suggested to be honest.

More like as little as $5-10 for a decent host for a personal site.
