yah i've been to that first site but i don't know what it means by "unregister" .. (sorry if thats a dumb question) .. i don't want to go and delete it and cause problems.. (if it's even possible to del it atm)

i'll go ahead and d/l any possible updates.. (i have sp1) but it might have been awhile since they've gotten updates..
thx for the help

EDIT: went and found this: regsvr32 /u file.dll to unregister.. would that be the way to do it?..

EDIT2: heh, that cmd works, but there was only 1 dll that was found out of that list that was able to be unregistered.. and so far i can't find any of the keys in that list.. this is beginning to be a big pain.. i wish i could just reformat this thing.. but thats not an option for them
