Ok, here's my question...
What is a shell, what are the advantages, what are the risks of installing one, and what possible cons are there?
Lastly, are there any good ones that are free?
I'm looking into getting a new one, but I'm not quite sure what to do, the last thing I need is a broken computer....

Blender is by far the best free 3D computer Graphics program and it is expandable with python! GoTo www.blender3d.org
