I have a HP all in one printer that is attached to my main computer and I have been sharing it on my laptop. Both have WinXP Home. The printer was working on both computers fine until last week and it quit working on the shared laptop. I get the following errors:"Printing failed when starting the document". And when I try to go to the printer properties I get the following "printer properties cannot be displayed. the print spooler service is not running". The printer is working fine on my main machine. I had zone alarm firewall and changed to PC Tools Firewall, I don't know if this had anything to do with it or not. Thanks
