Connection Dropping

  #1
Mar 10th, 2007
Hi

I have a Linksys router and I had to forward some ports in order to host in halo so I did. But now it seems that my connection is dropping and then reconnecting. It didn't start till I forward the ports but I don't think that should cause my connection to drop. Anyone know what’s wrong?

Linksys Router - BEFSR41

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not Emule, my whole connection. But I changed some things in the Internet Protocol and the dropping seems to have stoped now.

"netsh winsock reset" I suppose
anyhow, emule is a router killer, if it's not configured correctly. another problem might be the wrong MTU, but in that case your connection wouldn't exist

Well so much for it being fixed. It started to drop again after I hosted a game in halo. Not too sure what to do now...My router is a linksys model BEFSR41.
