A friend of mine had his iMac G3 take a hit in a storm and it knocked out his modem. He tried to get DSL but when he connects the Ethernet cable all the phones stop working in his house and the all start to ring on a constant. When the storm happened, he was using a direct phone line to the iMac and he used Dial up. Is the network and modem on the same board as the CPU and everything else? What can I do to fix this?
