mysql: DELIMITER issue while importing to windows mysql 5.0.27

May 15th, 2007
Hi ,

I have got a dump sql file from the remote db server and the concern is that i am new to the design which involves the triggers and all.

When i tried to set up a environment for a application to play around locally , the import shows a syntax error with DELIMITER...

i read in the mysql forums that delimiter is a command to avoid ambiguity of ; in the trigger statements or like wise ...

I really dont know how to solve this issue? I request experts hints and pointers to help me out with this issue.. i have given enough tries and dont know now how to...

With regards

Harish
