yes, that has happened to me a while ago.
1. what you need to do is uninstall aim completely and all of its components.
2. reinstall it off there website etc.
3. check the bandwitdth of your CPU at the time.
- maybe you have multiple things running all at once through the internet thats creating a backup in every message.
4. if that doesnt work , update aim to triton.
