Sun has excellent tutorials on their site, quite clearly visible.
As people are clearly allowed to attack me but I'm not allowed to defend myself, I no longer post to this site.

these are some books names that i think it is good for the Java beginners :
  • Thinking in Java
  • Core Java
  • How to Program (Java)
  • Learning Java in 21 days

you can search for them on Google .. these books are not free , so u have to pay for them !

if u r interested in 'thinking in java'
the author offers a free electronic copy on his website www.mindview.net
but i recommend 'java how to program'
by dietel and dietel
programming is an art ,only for those who can understand it.

There are many websites that can offer you that. I recommend you to go to Java website and search to their tutorial. It does helped me a lot on my first programming career. I also recommend this link below:

Start and First program:

I guess I'm not going to give you more than that, because the others are more advanced. and I don't think it would help you if you don't learn the fundamentals. Good luck

Ugh, I would definitely NOT recommend a link to that forum - unless you want to read pages of "hlp pls, jva program" posts by people wanting their homework done for them. Granted, it is a new forum and may improve over time, but at this point it is just awful.

Stay here if you honestly need help with something!
