Well, your funds will appear immediately in the account. You can log in at www.ikobo.com to check your account balance.

You also receive an e-mail notification when the funds arrive. All you have to do is go to nearest friendly ATM machine and get your cash. :p Simple as that!

Thanks. But what happens when I want to check my ikobo funds when I am in town. Can I check it by using my "nearest friendly ATM machine" and what is the fee to check the ikobo balance account using an ATM ?

Well, if you're out in town (preferably with a girl, or two ) you can indeed go to an ATM and check your balance. It used to cost $1.50 or something like that, but that was a long time ago, now it's free.
So the answer is yes you can, and there are no fees involved.

OK, since you folks are talking about ikobo, and since they appear to be the only ones I could find which will handle payments in my country I'd like to ask a few questions myself, if nobody minds of course.
What I'm most interested about is this ikard I keep hearing about. I'd like to know more details about it.
I've also heard that they enforce a strict verification process, how come? Is this really necessary? I've heard some people complain about it. What do you think about that?

Well, it's actually a visa electron debit card which you receive (free of charge) as soon as someone transfers money into your ikobo account. It takes about 5 to 6 days to arrive (my case) and you can use it at any visa ATM to withdraw the money. If you want to know more just ask!

I know for a fact that they enforce this strict verification process because they want to keep the system clean away from the bad people (hackers) who invaded other payment systems. The verification process is made manually and this lead to a much lower risk compared to automatically verification process.

OK, I see. I guess it's a good thing after all with the manual verification and stuff. After all I'd like to know my money is safe, even if that means that I have to undergo this strict verification procedure.
I'd still like to know some details about the ikard if you don't mind. Thanks!
