Not long (actually, just now), I finally came across the solution as well. You are right, it is SELinux that causes the problem. I found a great explanation and solution of the problem at http://thinkmuch.com/blog/archives/2...elinux-in-fc3/. I just ran chcon -R -t httpd_sys_content_t /home/ and all was well. Now, if I could just have those past few hours back!
