Hi - I am brand spanking new. I am able to see my website in VS 2005 but now I want to transfer it to IIS.

I put it in c:\inetpub\wwwroot

When I type in the computer name in ie I get error

"You are not authorized to view this page"

can someone help me view my page?

Thanks,

this means your web directory needs permission add every one or IWAM_WKS.., IUSR_WKS.., and ASPNET to your directory than it will work fine.

Let me know if you need further clarifications

Khaled

did you create a virtual directory for IIS? I think you have to do that before it will actually serve a website.
