Hi All,

This is my first post and my first venture into Web design, essentially I completed by website but as of today it's still not being indexed, its http://www.enviroenergy.ie , I've completed all the necessary Yahoo,MSN and google add URL set-ups but still no joy. I can see the googlebot visting my site but it doesn't seem to be picking it up, anybody got any suggestions?

Again first post and first web site so bear with me if I'm asking something a bit trivial.

Thx,
Alwyn.

I have been told it can take two weeks to get indexed once they visit. I have had good results after submitting and putting thier file on my site. But be patient, and use all the submitters available.

Well, as and when they do find you, you will be disappointed.

You are missing all the standard SE tactics, so you will score low points.

You have no title atribbute in you links.
The images used for links have no Alt text.
You have no use of Headet Tags (h1) etc.
Your URLS are non-indicative (rather than index2.html, it should be legislation.html.
You seem to have no text!!!!!! that means your site is not accessible, as you haven't even supplied long-description.

AS you are in Northern Ireland, you come under the UK for the Accessibility laws - you are wide open for havig the C&&p sued out of you!

Please - I mean this is the nicest way possible - go and read on the basics.
You have a damn pretty design and a good idea... and a naff site due to not utilising the basics of webdesign.

Which is a shame, as you obviously have talent!

So, go look at some basic tutorial sites... go look at the webcredibles, alistaprt etc.
HTMLDog, read through some of the posts here.

Then try it again - as otherwsie you will not get much through your site - and those that do use it will have a percentage risk of complaining or going to competitors (not to mention taking you to court and the cleaners!).
