Network problem

  #1
Sep 18th, 2007
Has anyone experience this before? My computer used to send 33000 packets and recieved about 8,000 within some few minutes even though my web browser has not displayed yet.
The other computer which is also connected to the same internet does not send and recieved such a number.

Do you have any P2P like bittorrent, kazaa or limewire?

Also do you have any IM running like MSN or AIM

it could be a defective nic. my teacher had a nic that when plugged into a network, would flood it completley and shut it down within 10 seconds.

a NIC is a network card
