tkinter widgets

when i change the state of a entry widget to disabled it greys out automaticly and this doesn't happen with text widgets. I was wondering if there is a specific value i can change for text widgets to make it work the same way as a entry widget. this is using tkinter.

I don't recall off the top. The manual is found here:

It's well-organized; just go down to the Text widget.
