Can't access control panel at all

I'm was having the problem a lot of others have had. (Just like thread post 98509)

I keep geting the message "Windos Security Alert -Warning Potential Spyware Operation - Your computer is making unauthorized copies of your system and Internet files. Run full scan now to prevent any unathorised access to your files! Clik YES to download spyware remover ...
and of couse I click no to cancel. It resets my homepage to google.com and disables the control panel and the task manger. A few other applications.

Can't access control panel at all. Not even in safe mode. When i do try i get this message.
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."

I downloaded combofix and hijack this . I did get my control panel and the logs are below

The McAfee program is bad. A friend tried to delete it a month ago, but did not use the uninstall.

my post on the using user account was deleted because a thread to fix it exist in hijack this forum. where? I can not find it

First, run this is you do not have control over the registry editing. It wont hurt even if you do all it dose is automatically enable registry editing.

You should now be able to manually enable the control panel OR use


http://www.pctools.com/mirror/tminstall.exe (recommend a ton easier and safer to use)


If you use the program heres the instructions


Install it obviously then open it up then on the side bar look for security + that then there should be an option for Control Panel + That and then look for something called No control Panel or Disable Control Panel something of the sort click that once thats open in the main part it should come look for 2 checkable boxes make sure they are both unchecked so You most likely have to reset after that and if it doesn't work then let me know then I'll show you how to enable it it manually if you don't know how.


Sorry for clutter I just had it all organized then I accidentally deleted my post when opening a web link it went over this page and took me to the link deleting my post with it so if you need anything clearer just ask me and I'll try to help you out even more

The combofix worked in my user account created 12-08-07, but I still have the problem in my administrator account in safe mode. My main user account, created 1-8-06 does not show up on the login screen on start up. You can find it in windows explorer, but can not access the files. The account named administrator, shows begin created 12-7-07

1. Should I run combo fix in safe mode on the administrator account. it does not shows up on the desktop in safe mode. I can run Hijack this in safe mode

or

2. how can i get access to my old account files and pic

If I can save some old file in the account, I would wipe the hard drive and start over.

Try combofix in safe mode. Failing that, can you slave the hard drive to another pc and retrieve your files that way?
