To Display images randomaly using Memory table which is stored in Session

hello all,

I have to display top 8 images in the image control.
For this I need to store all images from 3 different tables, in the Memory table, this table will be stored in the Session.
When this work is completed there is need to display top 8 images randomaly
in the Home page from Memory table.

I did not use Memory table before, and want to know some details about it.

This work is new for me, anyone please guide me.
