Unfortunately, while running ComboFix this morning (in safe mode), it seriously damaged my windows installation. When Windows rebooted, I lost all traces of my network, my printers folder was empty, and there were some other very worrying signs. So reluctantly I gave up my war against the virus and restored my two months old backup. At least the virus is gone...
