Hi drakkana

I had a similar problem on a customers computer. The graphics software would pop up at boot up but after changing the resolution and rebooting it would pop up again. After changing the resolution in the graphics app I then changed it via Desktop > Properties > Settings rebooted and the setting stuck. Does this help solve your problem?
