Our client, a well-regarded financial organization in Rockville, MD, is currently searching for the the following:

Position(s): .NET DEVELOPER AND DEVELOPER LEAD (2 POSITIONS)

Location: Rockville, MD

Duration: 9-12 Months

Essential Job Functions:

Performs software and system testing procedures, bug verification, release testing and beta support. May consult with customer concerning application and maintenance of software. May coordinate installation of software system. Analyzes and researches software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Performs product design and programming activities involving multiple modules or subsystems.

Participates in design meetings and consults with other staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Performs complex release testing and beta support for assigned projects and resolves problems found in the software. Prepares documentation required of the product.

Education/Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.

· Advanced study/knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering
along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies.

· Minimum 10 yrs of development experience

· Minimum 5 yrs of developing enterprise systems using relational DBMS

· Minimum 5 yrs of web application servers

· Minimum 5 yrs of (.Net, ASP.Net, C#)

Desired skills:

· Working with distributed application architectures and high performance systems

· Ability to work well with business/domain experts and other project personnel.

The Developer Lead will have an additional requirement- Experience coordinating the efforts of small development teams
