My XP is missing the dvd decoder for WMP. Is there a free one out there?
Media Player Classic has its own DVD decoder:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...er_Classic.htm
The K-Lite codec pack has a bunch of DVD decoders to choose from:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...Codec_Pack.htm
See the above post. Download K-Lite Codec Pack and you should be OK. WMP should use the available DVD decoder provided by the Codec pack when you try to play the DVD.
