Gather feedback from the first members of the community. - Monitor and assist with enforcement of the terms of service and community guidelines. - Collaborate with call-center representatives to help address any user issues. - Analyze community trends and patterns. - Daily reporting of moderation activities, including suggesting member content to showcase.
In The Wondir Community: - Monitor question, and answers then deciding after reviewing each what the appropriate actions to take. Wondir users send abuse reports which I also took appropriate action on. - Seeding health boards with questions that challenged the users. - Observe any site malfunctions and inform the proper manager to take action. - Report on activities along with questions and suggestions to improve our moderation or the site. - Making sure the legal policy was kept.
In The Revolution Community: - Monitor the site which is more of a relaxed community. Users have a bit more freedom to express their views. - Using a word filter program which alerts when a potential problem is found, and taking appropriate action based on reviewing the posts. - Validate links posted as safe for users. - Scanning the site to clean up duplicate posts, or inappropriate use. - Reporting any malfunctions to tech. - Writing a weekly Blog, or Running Story. - Announcing special guests who are invited to answer live user questions. - Using the policy to delete or suspend the user. - Reporting of the site, using the same guidelines as we do for Wondir.
