Please run HiJackThis.exe again and click "Scan".
Place checks next to the following entries i have included in the code below and
close all browser and other windows except for HijackThis, and click "Fix Checked".

On completion, run HJT again and do a new scan, saving the log and posting it here again.
Does IE respond now?
