Can Somebody Explain to Me what Test-Driven Development does and is?

H! to all, im a new member of DaniWeb and i would like to ask few question
about test-driven development. I'm an intern in a IT company a we are asked to research about TDD and i'll be having a presentation about it. I've already read some informations about it, but i want to learn and hear more from you guys in DaniWeb. First Thing is what is your insights about TDD (test-driven development).
