Hi I just implemented this site and I would like some feedback on performance. It's basically a search engine for products kind of like google base. It uses a soap call for the items and I am thinking of using a database backend instead of the soap call any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Dave

Seems fast enough on my end, although there is not much in the way of image files, etc to slow it down any. Most pages loaded in under 3s.
hey thanks for the input, The only problem I have is that it relies on an unreliable soap service. In a world of now now now 3 seconds could hurt me. Any who this is just a base to get started on. Thanks Again dave

Seems most of that is the query. I just did a search for AMD and it took 19.250s to fetch and display the search results.
I also did a search for ps3 and search results were there in 2.672s.
IMHO, 3 seconds is not too long and I can't see people leaving because the results were not there in a shorter amount of time.

Did a second search for AMD after clearing browser cache and it took 3.516s - which is much better than 19. Might have been congestion on my end.
I actually have a backend to catch the query so the same query take a shorter time because it is not making the soap call

Are you on some kind of drugs? what's with the Polish red eagle? ( it is a logo for Poland by the way) I think you have a long way to go, at least in the design part of your web.
I'm polish, dink, and I know i have a long way to go . I am working more on the backend than anything else. I figured I would put somethiung out their so little girls would be like " Are you on some kind of drugs? what's with the Polish red eagle? ( it is a logo for Poland by the way) I think you have a long way to go, at least in the design part of your web.". Because that is the total purpose of this sight is to be wrapped around your opinion because I guess you are such a master of opinion. By the way way you know what opinions are like, don't you? where are your websites oh guru? Thanks for your opinion I appreciate it.
