what's the difference between image and imagemap?

Hi there plusplus;

1-The Image control is used to display an image.
2- The ImageMap control enables you to create an image that has individual regions that users can click - these regions are known as hot spots. Each of these hot spots can be a separate hyperlink or can raise a postback event.
