fans still run after I shut down

i have an asus m2n32 slideluxe motherboard amd 4200+ dual running windows xp but just today started this problem when i shut down the fans stay running and hdd light stays lit . can anyone help me finger it out ?

not sure but i had same problem once when i had a power usb hub plugged into the my board .
