Well, before they jumped up in priority, my 3d apps and games ran fine, but since then, they get maybe 1-2 fps, though they report something like 12-15 fps (still less than half of what was normal). I'm not sure if something is directly hampering the fps or if the refresh rate on the programs is being reduced somehow. Whatever happened, it seems to have only affected 3d applications, almost like something is forcing the graphics to be processed by the cpu instead of the gpu, or something similar.
